Don’t Mix Cultures into the Gospel!
 
1Co 2:2  For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
 
Gal 6:14  But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

What is the Gospel? It means going to Heaven by believing in Jesus and repenting.  Only Jesus is ALL, and only the blood of Jesus is the power to cleanse my sins.  The Gospel is entering eternal Heaven by repenting everyday by trusting the blood of Jesus until the death. How great is the power of the name of Jesus? How great is the power of Jesus?  How precious is the blood of Jesus?  Only Jesus can satisfy everything.  Why are we mixing Jesus with something else, and diluting the Gospel in the name of cultures?   
 
Did Jesus and His disciples preach the Gospel while they enjoy cultural life? No.  They only prayed and filled with the Holy Spirit, and boldly preached Jesus, repentance, Heaven and Hell as the Spirit led.  They didn't mix the Gospel with anything such as programs or humanistic training.  When they preached only in the fullness of the Holy Spirit and only being arrested by the Word, wonders and signs manifested, three thousand returned in one day, and five thousand in another day. Why are Churches nowadays, particularly those cults, approaching people in the name of cultures?  It is because not only they do not know Jesus but also they do not know the power of the Gospel, they do not know the power and authority of the Holy Spirit nor they never have met Jesus.  Because they do not know the power of the name of Jesus, they trust something else. 
 
Many Churches have changed themselves into pluralism when they preach the contextualized theology and theology of enculturation, instead of changing others.  If they knew the power of the Gospel and truly understood the authority of the name of Jesus, they would have preached only Jesus. What else is needed if Jesus is the ultimate authority and power and if Jesus is the most advanced being?  Whenever more advanced thing is merged, the older should quickly fade away.  Because they thought they needed something more than Jesus, they mixed Jesus with something else, diluted and changed the Gospel.The Gospel is simple and clear.  It is the eternal truth.  It works even when it was applied throughout the ages.  The means of evangelism used by Jesus is the same as that of the first Century Church, that of Pastor Choi Kwonneung, even that of nowadays, because it is the works of the same Holy Spirit, who is the same yesterday, today and forever. Why do you think it won’t work?
 
In order to improve contact of ministry, they twisted the Gospel this way and that, sometimes they tried indirect approaches, not only they were trapped in the snares of the devil, but also fail to save souls, eventually destroyed themselves.  It is all the tricks of the devil. Compromising turns you into food of the devil.  Compromising is death.  Why can’t you boldly boast about Jesus when you preach? Why can’t you shout out “Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand!” as Jesus and His disciples preached?  Why can’t you preach that Hell clearly exists below earth?
 
Many believers and Churches preach false gospel that is just scratching itchy ears of people and satisfying people’s appetite, without trusting in the power of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.  “Jesus, Repentance, Heaven and Hell” is the core truth of the Gospel that Jesus wants us to preach about.  Why and why do the preachers and listeners fall down to Hell like rain drops? It is because they are NOT preaching the truth, but fearing people, boasting their pastors, or boasting of their Churches, as a result of the demon’s deception. Those preachers, who preach this Gospel of repentance all over the world including this nation, are not those who have received some special training.  They just pray and receive the Holy Spirit, and simply preaching “Believe in Jesus and repent, then Heaven, otherwise Hell!” as the Spirit confirm‎s. Surprisingly this Gospel is spreading very fast all over the world.
 
No one can quench the flame of this Gospel of repentance which God has shown and told.  Those praying, and awakened will give their lives in preaching this Gospel upon hearing in great shocks. The Gospel supposes to require lives from those who receive.  Though the false seems to give his life to the Gospel, it should be known that he cannot be martyred.  People know what truth is and they give their lives in to it. Do not mix the Gospel with anything else.  Do not cover the Gospel with cultures. Preach as Jesus the Lord has shown and bid to preach.  Cry out “Jesus, repentance, Heaven and Hell!”  Those who have ears to hear will listen, repent and march along the narrow and straight road.
