What is truly repentant?

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

If you confess your sins to the Lord, your life should begin to go to the light.The Lord is in the light.The light of the Lord means acts of love.To love your neighbor means to forgive others' faults,And do not ignore the weak, but help the weak part of the neighborhood. To live in this way is to live in the light of the Lord.Of course, no one can live perfectly like the Lord.It is true that human love always falls short of the Lord's love.But we must do our best to follow the Lord's love.

Why should we do our best? For this is the fruit of repentance. The fruit of repentance is forgiving our neighbors and trying to love. Those who do their best for the fruit of repentance are those who live in the light of the Lord.When those who live like this repent, by the blood of the Lord, their sins are always washed away.

But when you go to church for a long time and don't forgive others, No matter how much you repent, the Lord's blood cannot wash away your sins.The beginning of love is to forgive others' faults.This is not easy. That is why we all need to ask for the help of the Holy Spirit. By the power of the Holy Spirit we can achieve full repentance.When we receive the power of the Holy Spirit, we can truly love our neighbors. No one is perfect in the world.

But when I try to love my neighbor, the Lord has pity on me, forgiving all my sins. Then I will go to heaven.By human power, no one is perfectly righteous in the world.I am a great sinner, but when the Lord forgives me, I am recognized as righteous before the Lord. So we all must live under the grace of the Lord.
