Malachi 1:6
"A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?" says the LORD Almighty. "It is you, O priests, who show contempt for my name. "But you ask, 'How have we shown contempt for your name?'
God speaks to the priests of Israel: “A son honors his father, and a servant honors his master.
But you do not honor me, you priests who despise my name.
only God is your master .but you do not fear my word.
that you ask me ‘Lord, when have we despised you?’”
This is what happens when you fall into human doctrines. They despise the word of the Lord and do not even realize that it is wrong.
Christians who live according to their own will, believing that salvation is eternal, do not realize that doing so is an act of contempt for God.
Christians who live according to the lusts of the flesh and do not repent are actually asking God, "What have we done wrong?"
Pastors who teach that God is love and therefore does not judge Christians when they sin and do not repent are false prophets.
These people are the same as the priests who despised God and were judged.
2 Chronicles 30:8
Do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were; submit to the LORD. Come to the sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever. Serve the LORD your God, so that his fierce anger will turn away from you.
The Lord tells those who believe in Him to return to Him. The word "return" is used when referring to crossing over from an enemy country to our country.
This means that many of God's people are under Satan's control and must quickly return to the Lord's word.
Let the wrath of God turn away from you. The Lord is angry with those who disobey and do not repent.
When God disciplines His children, His heart aches.
Yet, He disciplines them because they are on the path to hell, and through discipline, He turns them back to Him.
Please obey the Lord's word. May God not need to discipline you.
2 Chronicles 34:33
Josiah removed all the detestable idols from all the territory belonging to the Israelites, and he had all who were present in Israel serve the LORD their God. As long as he lived, they did not fail to follow the LORD, the God of their fathers.
Most of the kings of Israel were wicked, but King Josiah ruled by faith.
He removed all the abominations from the land of Israel.
During King Josiah's lifetime, God granted peace to the entire nation.
During the reign of the wicked King Ahab, drought and famine were severe in Israel, making life very difficult for the people.
When King David ruled by faith, the nation prospered and became strong, and neighboring nations were unable to invade. God made this possible.
When a president with faith rules, the nation becomes strong and peaceful.
When a wicked president rules, the national defense and economy weaken, and the people's lives become difficult.
The same is true of the church. When the senior pastor preaches truthfully and guides the congregation, the church will be at peace.
However, when the pastor teaches human doctrines, conflict arises within the church, creating numerous problems.
Daniel 9:16
O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill.
Our sins and the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us.
Jerusalem and the Lord's people have suffered and become a reproach to those around them.
This is because the church and its members have suffered and become objects of slander to the world.
What is the reason? Is it because God's protective power is weak? No. It is the result of God's people committing sin and failing to repent.
Going to church is not the only solution. It is more important to let go of pride and greed and obey the Lord's word.
Exodus 15:26
He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."
Heed the words of Jesus and do what is right in the eyes of God.
Concentrate all your thoughts and hearts on hearing and acting on God's words.
God's words should not be heard as a passing sound.
The Lord's commandments and ordinances today are to reject evil, love our neighbors, and do good.
When we have a broad heart, understand and forgive others, reject evil, and do good, we are keeping the Lord's commandments.
All illnesses will depart from those who keep the commandment of love.
God will not allow even one of the world's diseases to come upon us.
The God of healing prevents all illnesses from coming upon us and heals those who are sick.
Jememiah 11:10
They have returned to the sins of their forefathers, who refused to listen to my words. They have followed other gods to serve them.
Both the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken the covenant I made with their forefathers.
If God's people serve other gods, disobey the Lord's word, and do not repent, they are breaking their covenant with God.
The Bible says that Christians who break their covenant with God will not be saved.
However, human doctrines claim that confessing Jesus as Lord once guarantees entry into heaven. This is false.
To be saved, we must keep the Lord's covenant.
This means not making excuses every time we sin, but repenting and turning away from it.
A life of faith that lives in this way is keeping the covenant with God.
