26 2 22 Sunday Worship

Do not compare yourself to others; you must accomplish the work entrusted to you.

Anyone who believes in Jesus and repents becomes a child of God.

This is the beginning of the life of faith. It is not yet confirmation of being a citizen of heaven.

If you finish your life diligently obeying and repenting, you will be judged as wheat and enter heaven.

If you end with a formalistic faith, you will be chaff and burned in the fire of hell.

This is the Bible.

Explaining many examples and truths has made the Bible thick.

Yet human doctrines have risen above the Bible.

They say that once someone attends church, they become a citizen of heaven.

That's why believers' faith doesn't grow.

The longer they attend church, the more arrogant they become, unable to forgive others, incapable of love, and turning selfish.

This happens because Satan seizes their heart.

Satan intensely attacks them to prevent them from reaching heaven.

God disciplines them to turn them from the path of destruction.

When one first believes in Jesus, the Lord guards and protects them.

But if they fail to learn obedience and follow the world, the Lord strikes them with a whip.

Believing in Jesus brings sickness, accidents, various problems, and the loss of life's peace.

To recover, one must read the Bible, listen to sound preaching, and return to a life of repentance and obedience.

The purpose of beginning a life of faith is to learn and obey God's Word.

One must train to abandon sin, forgive neighbors, and love one another.

Attending church but not living a life of repentance ends in a faith that is worthless chaff.

When believing in Jesus, God gives each person different talents.

Some have many talents; some have few.

But if one is faithful, they receive the same salvation and reward.

Those with greater ability bear greater responsibility; those with lesser ability bear lesser responsibility.

If one with great ability fulfills only half their duty, they are inferior to one with little ability who fulfills all.

To human eyes, the one who accomplishes half seems to have done ten times more than the one with little ability who accomplishes all. But in the Lord's eyes, they are distinguished as one who accomplished half and one who accomplished all.

A plump little jujube is more pleasing to the owner than a large pumpkin half-rotten.

Yet to human eyes, the half-rotten pumpkin appears more magnificent.

Do not compare yourself to others; faithfully doing your own work pleases the Lord.

Leaving talents behind does not mean accumulating great wealth.

It means serving the Lord with the talents, health, and resources He has given.

It means helping those weaker than oneself, forgiving neighbors, and doing good.

Because they fail to understand the Lord's will, the higher their position, the more they seek to dominate others.

Our lives were created for the Lord's glory.

If we live for the glory of the flesh, everything vanishes, and in the end, even our own life is snatched away by Satan.

Matthew 25:24-25

The one who had received one talent also came and said, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you did not scatter seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’

Such people claim that since God is all-powerful, He will handle everything Himself,

that human effort is utterly unnecessary,

that God will save whom He wills, bless whom He wills, and heal whom He wills, so humans need not strive.

This thinking comes from Satan.

Though we are lacking and weak, the Lord desires us to strive and labor within that weakness, forgiving and loving one another.

They live stubbornly according to their own will, attend church without repenting, yet still believe the Lord will save them all on His own.

These are the ones who received one talent and buried it in the ground.

Burying the talent received from the Lord in the ground means using one's life, ability, and wealth solely for worldly things.

Luke 19:20–21

Then another came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it wrapped in a cloth. For I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man; you take what you did not deposit and reap what you did not sow.’

It's a similar message.

The man who received one mina should have used it to generate profit, but he simply wrapped it in a cloth and set it aside.

His thinking was that God is strict, so if he made a mistake, he would be rebuked.

Therefore, he did nothing and chose to leave it untouched.

This is a very wrong way of thinking. Even if there are stumbles, we must diligently run the race of faith.

We must receive church offices, engage in various ministries, and move diligently.

When diligently doing the Lord's work, mistakes can happen, but do not worry.

Each time we err, we must repent, forgive one another, and reconcile.

Fearing mistakes so much that we do nothing is dereliction of duty. It becomes a sin that leads to being cast out by the Lord.

It is abandoning the purpose of the Lord who saved us.

Those who abandon the Lord's will cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

The Lord does not expect perfection from us.

He only desires that we obey with our utmost effort.

Only when we complete our life on earth and enter heaven will our lives be made complete.

Life on earth is a journey where everyone makes mistakes, repents, and moves forward.

Luke 19:24-26

He said to those standing by, 'Take the mina from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.

They replied, 'Sir, he already has ten minas! The master answered, 'I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away.

Do you do nothing because you have little faith, knowledge, or ability?

If so, soon even what you have will be taken away.

It will pass to the diligent worker.

Those who work diligently and become prosperous receive a bonus and grow even more prosperous.

Those who refuse to obey grow infinitely weaker until they vanish without a trace.

But those who obey, repent, and strive to keep their faith grow stronger and stronger, ruling the world while they live and then going to heaven.

Luke 16:10

Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and whoever is dishonest in very little is also dishonest in much.

Those faithful in very little are also faithful in very much.

All things on this earth are small. But heaven is great and eternal.

Those who are faithful to the Lord's word with the small things of this earth to enter heaven receive the exceedingly great kingdom of heaven.

To cling to worldly things and not be faithful to the Lord's word is to be unfaithful for the sake of heaven.

Those who use earthly things unrighteously are unworthy to be citizens of heaven.

Those enslaved by worldly things cannot be faithful for the sake of God's kingdom.

1 Peter 4:10

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.

God has given each person appropriate gifts. Our life, our gifts, and everything else come from God; they are not of human origin.

Humans are merely stewards managing what belongs to God.

Whatever we have received from the Lord, we cannot be arrogant or boastful.

Stewardship is not an eternal position.

When the term of the contract ends, the stewardship ends.

When this earthly life concludes, the stewardship ends.

How we fulfill our stewardship determines our eternal destiny—whether we go to heaven or hell.

Church members who forgave their neighbors and accumulated good deeds were faithful to the Lord and will go to heaven.

Church members who committed evil and refused to repent were unfaithful and will go to hell.

Luke 8:16

No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a bowl or puts it under a bed. Instead, they place it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light.

The lamp is the Holy Spirit, and good deeds are following the Holy Spirit's guidance.

All the good deeds done by God's people will be revealed.

All people see this and give glory to the Lord.

Evil deeds are also revealed.

When Christians who pretended to be good have their ugly deeds exposed,

they bring shame not only upon themselves but also upon the God they claim to believe in.

Faith without good deeds is fake.

One must forgive others and prove their genuine faith before God and people through good works.

A person filled with pride and greed, incapable of repentance, who merely says “Lord, Lord” with their lips, is not recognized as having faith that enters the kingdom of heaven.

James 2:17

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Claiming to believe in Jesus while disobeying His words and refusing to repent in one's faith life is dead faith.

Just as a fruitless branch of a vine is cut off, so too are Christians who bear no fruit of forgiveness and love cut off from the Lord's grace.

Wild grapevines are also cut down. They may appear to bear fruit, but when tasted, they are sour and inedible.

They are those who live their faith by watching others' reactions,

seeming outwardly to have excellent faith, yet their hearts are wicked. They never seek to understand others, always harboring resentment and complaint.

This is like smoke in the Lord's nostrils; He cannot dwell with such a person.

Both outward conduct and the unseen heart must be gentle and good.

James 4:17

Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Many believers memorize Scripture, yet fail to put it into practice. Knowledge without action is sin.

Christians with much biblical knowledge who do not act will face greater punishment.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

When we live by true faith, fear of the world vanishes. This is because we live within God's protection and love. We receive the Lord's grace whenever needed. We do not rely on humans. It is believing God's word and diligently obeying it.

Matthew 25:21

His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!’

Because he was faithful in the small things entrusted to him in this world, the Lord commends him and allows him to share in the eternal joy of heaven.

I have no possessions, no knowledge, and a weak body.

The world does not value me.

Yet, by repenting according to the Scriptures, forgiving others, and obeying the Word, the Lord saved me and granted me the glory of heaven, greater than all the glory of the world.

The least in heaven is more honorable than any king or president of the world's nations.

High positions in this world are posts of worry and suffering,

But heaven overflows with peace and happiness always—happiness given by God.

One day in heaven is more valuable than a thousand years on this earth.

Hebrews 10:38

My righteous one will live by faith. But if he draws back, I take no pleasure in him.

The forgiven sinner is the righteous one. No one has become righteous by keeping all the law.

It is by faith in Jesus that we are protected and live.

Diligently obey within the grace and power given by the Lord.

If one becomes proud and negligent, turning back, the Lord will not be pleased with him.

Only Jesus, only one God, only the Lord's word, only repentance—hold fast to this truth until you enter heaven.

Holding onto human doctrines leads to corruption from that very moment.

Pride and greed enter the heart, darkening the eyes and leading to destruction.

Luke 12:48

The servant who does not know his master's will and does what deserves punishment will receive few blows. But the one who knows his master's will and does not prepare or act according to his will will receive many blows.

Those who disobey and do not repent, not knowing God and the truth, receive fewer blows.

But those who know Jesus and have received the Holy Spirit, yet rebel against the Lord because of worldly greed, receive greater punishment.

In hell, those who believed in Jesus suffer greater torment than unbelievers.

This is the talk of those who believe in Jesus yet are ensnared by worldly things.

Once saved, always saved. Yet they refuse to obey at all.

Their punishment in hell is more severe than that of unbelievers.

The moment they fall into hell, they realize their mistake,

but even if they beat their breasts in eternal regret, they cannot escape hell.

We must quickly abandon human doctrines that trample Jesus' words and dishonor His blood.

Human doctrines are spiritual poison.

All who partake perish. Yet there is an antidote:

Repenting of sin while still living on this earth.

The Lord demands much from those to whom much has been given.

Are you more handsome than others? Richer, more honored? Healthier? Of higher status?

Then you must use that grace to be more faithful to the Lord than to yourself.

Do you oppress others because you think you're better?

Such people will soon be made to suffer oppression by Satan.

The strong helping the weak is not something to boast about; it is a duty they must fulfill.

The Lord created the strong and the weak to live in harmony.

The world does not contain only large fruits;

He created both large and small to live in harmony.

Nothing is so abundant and strong that it lacks nothing, nor is anything so weak that it cannot help others.

Everyone can help and love others.

Look at the crocodile and the crocodile bird.
