로마서 7:16-20
Romans 7:16-20
If I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. Now then, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, nothing good dwells. For to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I want to do, I do not do; but the evil that I do not want to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
*
The spirit that believes in God delights in what is good. But the thoughts that belong to the flesh do not delight in what is good.
Therefore, in many cases, a person cannot do the good that the spirit desires, but instead does the evil that the flesh desires.
Fallen demons always stimulate the desires of the flesh and drag human beings into the path of sin. Human willpower and ability alone cannot overcome this situation.
However, the Holy Spirit has come into the hearts of those who believe in Jesus. That Holy Spirit protects us so that we do not fall into sin.
When we repent and strive to obey, the Holy Spirit enables us to overcome sin. But those who hate repentance and do not strive to obey cannot receive the help of the Holy Spirit.
When the desires of the flesh rise up like fire, we must drive out Satan and demons that make us sin in the name of Jesus, and we must control the desires of the flesh. If we cannot overcome this, we will eventually commit sin.
However, even when we are weak and commit sin, we must not be too discouraged, but must repent immediately.
When those who strive to obey commit sin and then repent, Jesus has compassion on them.
Therefore, do not delay, but repent. Wash away your sins with the blood of Jesus. And return again to the word of the Lord.
Those who repent of their sins always recover again the authority of being children of God.
However, Christians who commit sin and do not repent continue to remain servants of Satan and demons.
Christians who believe in human doctrines live according to the lusts of the flesh and yet do not repent of their sins. As a result, they live as servants of Satan and eventually go to hell.
Because all flesh commits sin, it originally belongs to Satan.
However, when our spirit within the flesh believes in Jesus and repents, it belongs to God. And those who keep that faith until the end of the world become the people of heaven.

로마서 7:21-24
Romans 7:21-24
I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
The saved soul delights in the law of God. In other words, it desires to live according to the will of God and go to heaven. But our flesh does not want to keep the law of God; it wants to live according to lust.
Without the help of the Holy Spirit, the desire of the flesh overcomes the heart that wants to obey. Christians have a heart and desire to obey the word of God. However, by human determination alone, they cannot overcome the desire of the flesh.
Seeing human beings fallen into such a tragic condition, the apostle Paul also lamented:
“O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?”
No human being can deliver himself from sin and death by his own power.
Even those who have learned the law of God cannot fully keep the good law because of Satan’s interference and their fallen nature.
로마서 8:1-2
Romans 8:1-2
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
The way of salvation has been widely opened to human beings who had no choice but to perish. When they believe in Jesus and repent, sin, curses, and destruction disappear.
God has given this way of life to human beings, but there are not many who walk this way of salvation correctly.
That is why God sent the Holy Spirit into the world.
The Holy Spirit makes people understand Jesus Christ, leads them to repent of sin, and enables them to obey.
When we repent and obey through the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, we are not condemned.
The Holy Spirit gives more of a heart to repent to those who want to repent, and gives more strength to obey to those who strive to obey.
Those who are led by the Holy Spirit are those who are in Jesus.
However, Christians who only perform religious rituals and do not want to live a life of repentance and obedience are ultimately living a life of faith outside Jesus. The result is that they receive the condemnation of the law and perish.
===================
로마서 8:3-6
Romans 8:3-6
For what the law could not do because it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.
*
Because all human beings have a fallen nature, even if the law teaches what is good, human beings cannot fully keep it.
Therefore, God Himself came into the world in human flesh, took upon Himself the sins of human beings, and died on the cross.
Isaiah 9:6
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
God was born into the world as a child.
The name of the Creator God who was born as a human being is Jesus Christ, and He was also called the Son of God.
1 Timothy 2:5-6
“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all…”
God is eternally one.
That one God became the only Mediator between man and God.
The way He did this was that the Creator God came into the world in the name of Jesus Christ and gave His own life as a ransom for mankind.
Matthew 20:28
“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
God who came in the flesh did not come into the world to be served.
Rather, He came to serve sinners.
The climax of that service was the death of the cross, where He gave His own life as a ransom.
The Holy Spirit comes to those who hear the word of God and repent.
The Holy Spirit makes those who repent understand the truth more deeply and helps them obey the word of God.
The Holy Spirit fulfills the requirement of the law within us.
When we live a life of repentance and obedience according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the requirement of the law is ultimately fulfilled within us.
Those who keep the law perfectly are not judged.
Likewise, those who believe in Jesus Christ and live a life of repentance and obedience according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit are not judged.
In the end, they receive the same effect of salvation.
Those who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and always live a life of repentance and obedience according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit attain eternal life.
However, Christians who only attend church, live according to the flesh, and do not repent of their sins will eventually come to destruction.

로마서 8:7-10
Romans 8:7-10
The mind of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor indeed can it. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But if the Spirit of God dwells in you, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
*
The mind of the flesh does not submit to the law of God. All flesh wants to live according to the lusts of the world, does not want to sacrifice itself for its neighbor, and tries to follow its own greed and pride rather than doing good.
However, when we believe in God, our hearts must be changed. We must restrain the evil and filthy thoughts of the flesh, and this can be overcome only by the help of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ. Therefore, a person who does not have the Spirit of Christ is not a person of Christ. Even if the body attends church, by human strength alone one cannot overcome all the thoughts of the flesh. Therefore, those who live without the help of the Holy Spirit eventually live as slaves of sin.
Those who commit sin and do not repent belong to Satan. But when a person overcomes Satan’s thoughts by the power of the Holy Spirit, the born-again life appears within that person.
It is not true that a person enters heaven unconditionally just because he was born again once. Saints must repent and be renewed every day until they die, and they must keep the born-again life to the end in order to become the people of heaven.
Christians can also sin every day in their hearts and thoughts. They may suddenly covet what belongs to others, or they may hate someone. Whenever this happens, they must repent immediately so that their hearts may be cleansed and they may continue to live as those who belong to Jesus.
However, Christians who harbor greed and lustful thoughts and yet do not repent come under the rule of Satan and become distant from the Holy Spirit. These are people who were once born again but failed to maintain that new birth to the end. Therefore, they receive the Lord’s discipline. But even then, if they realize their sin and repent, they can return again to the Lord’s embrace.
Christians who believe human doctrines and think they will go to heaven even without repentance will fall into hell when they die.
The human body is not the object of salvation. The soul dwelling within the body is the object of salvation. When a person dies, the soul comes out of the body, receives a new resurrected body, and enters heaven. The body left in the world returns forever to the dust. The body that has returned to dust does not rise again.
Christians who have lived a life of repentance receive a resurrected body at the moment of death and enter heaven. But Christians who do not repent, and unbelievers, receive the resurrection of judgment and are thrown into hell.
Hell is inside the earth. However, when the Lord comes again, the whole universe will be turned into a sea of fire. At that time, the entire space of the universe will become hell. In this enormous hell, Satan, all demons, and all unsaved souls will receive eternal punishment together.
=======================
로마서 8:11-15
Romans 8:11-15
If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Therefore, brothers, we are debtors, but not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh, you will surely die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
*
The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead. That same Holy Spirit also raises those who believe in Jesus by the same power.
When we believe in Jesus and repent, the Holy Spirit dwells in us. And on the last day, that Holy Spirit will clothe us with a resurrected body.
Just as Jesus was resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, that same Holy Spirit will also give us a resurrected body and establish us as the people of heaven.
However, church members who live according to the lusts of the flesh will surely perish, because the Holy Spirit does not dwell in them. Only those who walk with the Holy Spirit will receive the resurrection of life on the last day and enter heaven.
Church members who disobey and do not repent are living a life of walking with Satan. Today, there are far too many Christians like this inside the church. They will eventually receive the resurrection of judgment and go to hell.
With the help of the Holy Spirit, our hearts must overcome the thoughts of the flesh. When we follow the will of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit continues to dwell in us.
However, if we follow the thoughts of the flesh, even if the Holy Spirit is in us, He does not work within us. Furthermore, if we continue to live in sin and do not repent at all, the Holy Spirit will eventually leave us.
All who are not led by the Holy Spirit are ruled by Satan. Such people will be led by Satan to hell on the last day.
When the Holy Spirit helps them, Christians must repent of and forsake evil words and evil deeds. If a person continues to live a filthy life, the Spirit of Jesus leaves him. When the Spirit of Jesus leaves, he is no longer a person of Christ. He has become a servant of Satan.
When a person becomes a servant of Satan, he always lives in fear. Even if he still attends church, he has no assurance of salvation. Because he cannot receive the protection and grace of the Holy Spirit, he always lives in anxiety.
Even if their physical lives appear wealthy and healthy, their hearts are empty. Such people lose the true meaning of life, live continually in irritation, resentment, and complaint, and eventually perish.
Therefore, all Christians must obey only the words of Jesus and repent whenever they commit sin, so that the Holy Spirit may always dwell within us.
