사무엘상 15:22-23

사무엘이 가로되 여호와께서 번제와 다른 제사를 그 목소리 순종하는 것을 좋아하심 같이 좋아하시겠나이까 순종이 제사보다 낫고 듣는 것이 수양의 기름보다 나으니,이는 거역하는 것은 사술의 죄와 같고 완고한 것은 사신 우상에게 절하는 죄와 같음이라 왕이 여호와의 말씀을 버렸으므로 여호와께서도 왕을 버려 왕이 되지 못하게 하셨나이다

But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD ? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king."

하나님의 능력으로 사울 왕은 전쟁에서 이겼다. 전쟁을 하기 전에 하나님은 사울에게 준수 할 사항을 엄중하게 주님이 명령하셨다. "주님의 백성을 해쳤던 원수들을 모두 죽여라, 그리고 그들의 짐승들까지 남김없이 죽여라." 그러나 승리한 후에, 사울의 마음이 변했다, 그래서 그는 주님의 명령을 따르지 않고 자기의 육신 생각대로 모든 일을 행했다. 원수들의 소유물 중에서 살지고 아름다워보이는 원수의 짐승들을 죽이지 않고 살려놓았다.선지자가 와서 그의 잘못을 보고 그를 책망했다. 그때라도 사울왕은 자기의 죄를 그대로 인정하고 회개하고, 주님의 용서를 받아야 했었다.그러나 그는 선지자를 통해 주시는 하나님의 말씀을 거역했던 것이다.처음에 그는 무명한 청년으로 농촌에서 살고 있었는데 그의 마음이 매우 겸손했다. 그래서 주님께서 그를 불러 이스라엘의 왕으로 세웠던 것이다.그는 하나님의 능력으로 전쟁에서 승리한 후에 그의 마음이 매우교만해졌다, 그는 주님의 책망을 받고도 그의 죄를 회개하는 것 대신에 자기의 생각으로 변명한 것이다. "하나님께 제사드리기 위해서, 내가 이것들을 남겨놓았나이다." 그가 너무나 교만하고 오만해졌기 때문에, 그 선지자가 즉시 그에게 이렇게 대답했다."당신이 하나님의 말씀을 버렸기 때문에 하나님께서도 당신을 버렸나이다." 그때부터 그의 삶은 무너지기 시작했다, 그의 믿음도 점점 흐려졌다.그는 주님으로 부터 멀어지면서 멸망의 길로 갔던 것이다.사울 왕의 실패는 오늘날 우리에게 큰 교훈이 된다. 지금 많은 교인들이 예수를 믿고, 기도하여서 주님으로 부터 많은 응답을 받는다. 질병에서 치료받거나 각종의 어려움에서 회복한다.주님의 능력을 많이 체험할수록 우리는 더욱 겸손해져야 하는데, 주님의 축복을 받은 자들이 그의 과거보다 더 교만해지는 것이다.주님의 응답을 받을 수록 더욱 주님의 말씀에 순종하고 겸손해야 한다.그렇게 자신의 믿음을 지킬 때 주님의 축복은 계속되고, 천국 길로 계속 가는 것이다. 그러나 많은 교인들이 주님의 축복을 받은 후에 주님의 이름을 높이기 싫어하고, 자기의 이름을 높이기 원힌다, 그것은 주님의 뜻을 거역하는 것이다. 그 뿐만 아니라. 자기의 육신의 생각대로 행하는 것이 주님의 영광을 위한 것이라고 변명하고 주장한다.이는 주님을 너무나 슬프게 만든다, 그 결과는 멸망이다. 한 때, 주님으로부터 큰 축복을 받고 모든 일에 성공하는 듯 보이는 자들이 있다.그러나 얼마 지마면 거의 멸망해 버린다. 이런 자들은 성령으로 시작했다가 육체로 마치는 자들이다. 주님의 응답을 받고 건강해지고, 부자가 되고, 세상의 명예를 얻는 것보다 더 중요한 것이 있다. 많은 축복보다 더욱 중요한 것은, 끝까지 주님의 말씀에 순종하는 것이고, 또한 끝까지 견손한 자세를 지키는 것이다.

Even at that time, King Saul should have acknowledged his sins, repented, and received forgiveness from the Lord. However, he disobeyed the words of God given through the prophet. At first, he was an unknown young man living in a rural area, and his heart was broken. It was very humble. So the Lord called him and made him king of Israel. After winning the war with the power of God, his heart became very proud. Even after being rebuked by the Lord, he excused his sins with his own thoughts instead of repenting. . “I have left these things to offer to God.” He became so proud and arrogant that the prophet immediately answered him, “Because you have rejected the word of God, God has rejected you.” From then on, his life began to fall apart, and his faith gradually became clouded. He turned away from the Lord and went down the path of destruction. King Saul's failure is a great lesson for us today. Now, many church members believe in Jesus, pray, and receive many answers from the Lord. Be healed from an illness or recover from various difficulties. The more we experience the power of the Lord, the more humble we should be, but those who have received the Lord's blessings become more arrogant than they were in the past. The more they receive the Lord's answers, the more they obey the Lord's word. You must obey and be humble. When you keep your faith, the Lord's blessings will continue and you will continue on the path to heaven. However, many church members do not want to exalt the Lord's name after receiving the Lord's blessing, but instead want to exalt their own name, which is against the Lord's will. not only. They make excuses and claim that acting according to the thoughts of their flesh is for the glory of the Lord. This makes the Lord very sad, and the result is destruction. At one time, there are those who seem to receive great blessings from the Lord and succeed in everything. But after a while, they almost perish. These are people who started with the Holy Spirit and finished with the flesh. There is something more important than receiving answers from the Lord, becoming healthy, rich, and gaining worldly fame. What is more important than many blessings is to obey the Lord's words until the end and maintain a steadfast attitude until the end.
