그 때, 율법에 의해 ,그 간음한 여인은 돌에 맞아 죽게 되어있었다. 그러나 그 여인이 예수님 앞에 나왔더니, 그녀에게 생명의 길이 열려졌다. 그들은 예수님을 시험하기 위해 , 간음한 여인을 예수님 앞으로 끌고 왔던 것이다.말없이 , 예수님은 땅위 무슨 글씨를 적었습니다.그 여자를 죽이려고 했던 자들이 예수님이 썼던 글을 읽었고, 그들의 양심이 가책되었다.그래스 그들 모두가 도망쳤습니다.그래서 그 여인만 혼자 예수님 앞에 남겨졌다.
